After watching Dark Skies, I had to look up a UFO website, out of curiosity, coming up with Object UFO (or something similar). I was reluctant, afraid of getting some worm or virus or something that would have the Tin Hat society clogging up my computer, but that has not happened. As it was, the site was good - well rounded, well written (except for a little dig at the end) and to the point. It noted the various aliens that have been experienced - the little grays, the big grays, the whites, the Nordics and the mantids-- gave a brief summary of the hierarchy, and the reason for their presence, which has two aspects: one, to rejuvenate the Big Grays, who are descendants of us from some 50 thousand years in the future who have lost the juice to reproduce - who need hybrids from current human DNA to survive; and, two, to bring us safely to the singularity, a sort of event horizon where humans and human technology will hit a level that will propel us into another much higher plain of reality, essentially joining us with the citizens of the galaxies. This is a basic summary, which has been in preparation for decades, from what I have read.
I am also reading Richard Dolan's very exhaustive study on UFO sightings and cover-ups from the early seventies to the early nineties. His writing is excellent and his research sound - but there is little question that he strays into the paranoid realms, reading into history all sorts of UFO causation (according to one interpretation, the invasion of Grenada was related to the development of Star Wars, which may have been developed for protection against UFOs). Still, one can understand why, for there is no question that the government or military of the US and many other countries purposefully muddy the information on UFO's with denial and misinformation. I have seen this myself, worked through newspapers, as bizarre cattle mutilations, seen by farmers who know predators, are explained away as predator caused; and of numerous group sightings, such as those in the Hudson Valley which I was then visiting in the 1980's, where unquestionable UFO's were routinely described by newspapers as "ultralights playing a prank." This at numerous times, throughout many a year without an arrest, "pranks" that caused visuals thought by many expert witnesses to be impossible. Recently, I have seen disinformation about crop circles - one described in this blog, where an obvious formation of a computer chip was "exposed!" And another, where a very beautiful and possible one was shown to be "mysteriously in the desert " and was later "exposed!" as an artwork project in Egypt in a fallow farmer's field, surrounded by roads and tire tracks. Ah, see! All just hoaxes!
And so one understands the paranoia - but, again, why the cover-up? We have already discussed the probability, in my mind, that the open admission of alien UFO's would be, as they say, a "game changer." However, that it will be accepted in time depends on the condition that those beings are living in a world of our dimensions. Parents protect their children from things that will scare them or that they might misunderstand. We will NOT, at least at first, understand multiple-universe beings, nor will we want to be dragged into such a multiplex. Our world is boring and often painful, but it is, in the end, our tattered but beloved world. To find that our perspective is almost like a dream - as it surely is - but to have it brought down hard on our heads by alien beings ----what would that do? Would the panic rise to insanity? Are those hiding the facts, then, really doing so for our benefit?
And are we being prepped, for surely the time will come when there can be no more denial? Are 'they' slowly lowering the wall to knowledge? Last night on cable was a science program narrated by Morgan Freeman about a multitude of scientists working on encountering alien beings, including everything from propulsion innovations to get us way out there, to linguistic models that might enable us to speak with them. This was not a crack-pot or cheap UFO show, but of mainstream scientists preparing for what they were assuming - really assuming- to be inevitable. Much of that inevitability has come from the discovery of thousands of planets in recent years, making the probability of life- encouraging planets very high. But is this a back-door approach? With dis-information, it is easy to become paranoid, but still...only a decade or so ago, such a show, taken with serious, reputable scientists, would have been impossible.
I recall from my early youth that the experts ridiculed the prospect of water canals on Mars. Now they admit that they were rivers - and , if you look at them, it would not surprise me if they will have to admit in a few years that they were canals. No rivers on earth consistently form like that with such straight lines. I was also told that the stories about Vikings going to a new world called "Vineland" were myths. Yet, somewhere in the 1980's or 90's, this "myth" quietly turned into an accepted and mundane truth.
It is not that the Viking reality would have scarred us, but that reputable scientists were afraid of being labeled kooks without irrefutable evidence of the Vikings in North America. Most reputable scientists probably feel the same way about UFO's now, and certainly about canals on Mars. But some probably know - and the frontiers will be slowly shifted back. This may not be because our human guardians want this to happen, but because the Others are making it so that our guardians must let us in on the secret. To find that we have been in contact with ET's for decades all of a sudden - and that our government has been lying to us for so long - might make bad matters worse. "They" might have to tell us soon, and by the looks of TV, that soon could be sooner than some expect. FK
